It's great getting to spend a couple of weeks at the Koyukuk Moose Hunter Checkstation every September. Unfortunately, every river bend and straight has a different name. Locals chat about areas like Three Day Slough and Dulbi Slough versus Dulbi River. I needed a guide to more quickly locate these features. 

This map started knowing I wanted the reference guide to cross onto the map itself. Could I have changed the design to avoid this? Yes. Would I rather stick to my idea to see if I can actually pull it off? Yes, there is more to learn that way.
